Rated 3 out of 5 by from Who’s Baking? This reminds me of lavender-lemon tea cookies baking for some reason. It is not the sickly-sweet scent of the Lavender votive I tried, nor does it remind me of my Lemon Zest lg. jar candle either. This very light lovely sweet scent carries well with a light breeze flowing through my house. Once I closed up my house for the evening, I could no longer smell this in my living room. With such a light scent and poor throw, it’s now sitting in the powder room. The light scent did carry well with my tower fan on, but I don’t think I should have to listen to the noise it puts out in order to smell this lovely scent. Wick burned well. This scent did not bother my allergies.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love your candles Yankee but this smells like an old over powering can of Pledge Allot of reviewers complain about some Yankee candles either having not to much scent or being way overpowering (& I just bought a votive of this) & as the title of my review states it smells like a very strong can of pledge sprayed all over or some type of "cleaning product". I am writing this review on a small votive to boot. NO Lavender smell to me or others that entered my home sneezing & asked me: "I like lemon but WOW is that STRONG" Obviously you must have cleaned the entire house! You know somethings wrong there (wasn't just me). Guess at the very least they thought I had just cleaned everything. Yankee, please bring back just your reg. Lavender scented candle. I loved it & it is so hard to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshing and Clean~ My Spring Go-to!! I had to try this, as I’ve tried everything else in this product line and loved it. In fact, this is my Spring go-to scent, as it’s clean, refreshing and energizing! On a scale of 1-10, I give this an 8.5.It smells great, the lemon and lavender intertwine beautifully, no one scent overpowers the other, but only from about 6 feet away- perfect for a dining room table setting absolutely. It would be great to use in layering with a melt cup or a large candle. If you like the scent of lavender and lemon intertwined to form a lovely refreshing, clean scent, then you will love this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and refreshing scent Bought the votive as I seem to have less and less relaxation time to enjoy my candles. Was a little worried about this fragrance being too lemony but bought it as it was recommended by a trusted friend. I was really pleasantly surprised, this is a perfect balance of lemon and lavender, it is relaxing and uplifting at the same time. This will be perfect for when I'm studying and need to focus without getting stressed. It's also great for me as I have two dogs and this freshens the smell of the house without smelling synthetic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if you like A LOT of lemon scent! This scent is very crisp and clean, wonderful in a bathroom or a kitchen. It has a very powerful throw, as well as an overwhelmingly fresh fragrance. It's always nice to have a few extra of these tarts and votives on hand in case you have company coming over!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not nice I bought the votive (and thank god I didn't buy the large jar) on the reviews, thinking i would be pleasantly surprised, but its not at all nice. I'm not geting any lavender smell at all. Very reminiscent of a toilet cleaner or furniture polish. I couldn't burn for long as it was just to over powering and unpleasant. Of couse it may be suitable to get rid of food smells, but afraid I didn't keep it that long to find out, as couldn't stand this one (this one was another one I put in the bin). Such a shame as thought it would be really nice. Too much lemon and no lavender or vanilla or orange. A no from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FIRST VOTIVE I TRIED & HAVE USED VOTIVES WITH TARTS SINCE I was so unsure the votives would give off the same strength of scent that the tarts do until I tried one when on sale. I was so impressed, I've bought them ever since to use when I use tarts or alone. Lemon Lavender has a really clean, refreshing smell to it. How I really knew it was a good scent was when the first time I used one, I had a wax tart burning in my kitchen & another in my family room which is all in a open area. My husband came in from work & remarked how clean the house smelled & how "busy" I must have been cleaning all day! THAT is a sign of a good smelling scent as I hadn't cleaned at all other than what I do everyday. He thought I had mopped & wiped down all the cabinets! Lemon Lavender is the scent I have continued to use in the kitchen/family room area, as it is the first area you hit when you walk in our home. Have got so many compliments on this scent. When you want your husband to think you've been working hard cleaning all day, this is the scent for you! I should have never told him that it was a candle & wax tart & probably would have gotten taken out to dinner to give me a break from all the "cleaning" I had done that day!
