Rated 1 out of 5 by from It’s just okay I had high hopes for the Yankee Candle Vanilla Cupcake, being a big fan of gourmand scents. However, coming from the high standard set by Christmas Cookie, this one was a complete letdown. It lacks the strong aroma I was expecting, and I could barely detect it when lit. Had it burn for over 4 hours in a medium-sized room, and you could barely smell it. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem like the best choice for colder months, which was my intention when purchasing it. It might work better in spring and summer due to its less sweet fragrance, but I'll stick with Christmas Cookie in the future and won't be repurchasing Vanilla Cupcake.

I have a dog in my house and even though he bathes regularly and his blankets are washed daily, I feel like I could not make my house smell nice. Always smelled of cleaning products. Many candles only radiate their fragrance a few feet, NOT this candle!!! I can smell it in my entire house!!! My house smells amazing! I can have it lit for several hours and it has not started to smell burnt like some candles can do! I have had many friends ask for the name, I highly recommend it!

I described buttercream as sniffing a tray of fresh cupcakes, the icing. Vanilla cupcake I would describe as that wonderful vanilla and sweetness fragrance as a tray of vanilla cupcakes are cooling, that inviting warm vanilla and sugar fragrance

The Vanilla Cupcake leaves my house smelling like I just pulled fresh cupcakes out of the oven. Absolutely smells amazing! Love the size, as they last a long time. The quality really can't be beat. Trust me if you want your house smelling like a bakery, you can't go wrong with the Vanilla Cupcake.

I have been a home owner and quite a candle connoisseur for over 24 years. Heck I even burned candles as a teen living at home with my parents. So I can easily say I have burned thousands of candles. Your Vanilla cupcake has Always been a staple in my home, I have always loved this scent probably always will. Your 2 wick candles are amazing they burn perfect and even. You have kept these candles simple and elegant, thank you. All my guests always say "your house Always smells so good" We have 2 dogs and horses so thank you YankeeCandle for helping me keep a lovely home for many years and many, many years to come. Your always a great gift, to give or to get. If you haven't already bought YankeeCandles What are you waiting for? They are hands down best burn for your buck.
