Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pumpkin Banana Scone For those UK customers who were intrigued by the rave reviews of the US release of Pumpkin Banana Scone, this is it and has simply been renamed for the UK market. Where do I start? Well, firstly, the hype is real! This fragrance delivers on every element that a candle should. The new Signature two wick candles burn beautifully with next to no wastage so you can be sure to savour every bit of wax you pay for here. the aesthetics of the candle are very pleasing to the eye which certainly helps when proudly displaying this candle in pride of place in your home. I'm also pleased to say that the new soy wax blend delivers minimal soot, delivering a clean and satisfying burn each and every time you decide to light up. Now the most important part of my review and the bit that every scented candle enthusiast wants to know... the fragrance. The much desired gourmand, indulgent and decadent notes are all here and each one throws beautifully around your home and lingers long after its been extinguished. Yes, it's a foodie fragrance but what this candle does is deliver on all of the scent notes from its key ingredients, the type of aromas you'd expect to experience in a popular local bakery and propels it throughout the comfort of your own home. Ideal for the kitchen, your popular cinnamon and spice notes are all here but are blended exceptionally well with the warm pumpkin apple baked goodness that simply permeates beautifully throughout your home. This fragrance reminds me of the Yankee Candle good old days when the fragrances performed and were simple yet effective in delivering the fragrance experiences we all long reminisced for and why we fell in love with the brand in the first place. I just wish Yankee Candle would release more of these gourmand pumpkin, apple, spiced scents in the UK marketplace similar to those readily available in the USA. If this candle marks the starting point of what's to come from Yankee Candle UK moving forward then get excited. Get VERY excited. Spiced Banana Bread is an exceptional conceptive take on the real thing and will be sure to delight and pleasantly surprise your family and friends visiting you this Autumn and Winter. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smell, 2 wicks This smells absolutely amazing. Can’t fault the smell. It’s like a bakery in my room. The two wicks would suggest that there are no waxy bits around the edge, so that the candle burns down evenly across the whole circle, but that’s not the case. The two wicks also mean that the candle goes down a lot faster than a single wick candle, something I didn’t think of before. It’s a bit annoying as I feel like I’m spending the same amount but for half the candle life time

As a gourmand candle enthusiast, this one lived up to my expectations. There's an odd hint of bubblegum (i think?) in the scent, which isn't my usual preference, but it's oddly tolerable in this candle. Overall, a fantastic choice for those who love rich, cozy scents that envelop your space. 🍌🍞🕯️

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gourmand Bliss This candle takes me back to Yankee Housewarmer candles / black band yankees enjoyed in the 90’s and 00’s. It reminds me of a cross between kitchen spice and carrot cake with a large slice of squidgy banana bread on top. It’s gorgeous and a really cosy smell - everyone in my family is enjoying it. The throw is on point and no burning issues at all! I’m enjoying the new soy blend candles from Yankee they’re excellent!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Banana spiced joy! I saw this in a store and was taken instantly with the fragrance. It’s isn’t often that banana appears as a scent! But spiced banana bread , yes please! I find it better to light it for a set time, as my lounge is small and any fragranced candle can overpower the space if left too long, but that is no criticism of the scent. Another one to add to my future wish lists!
