Rated 5 out of 5 by from Banana bread fresh from the oven... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness, this new addition to the Signature Collection is so delicious! Warm, soft banana bread with a hint of pumpkin spice. It's such an inviting scent and perfect in September. Super clean performance, strong throw, the wicks seem to take care of themselves for the most part. I appreciate the jar shape, too - a 2021 reimagination of Yankee's traditional apothecary jar. Yet the two wicks and the blended wax allow you to actually make a dent in this jar. The traditional jars burn so slowly that you are sometimes over-ready for a new fragrance and haven't even made it down to the halfway point! I'll definitely try some other fragrances in this jar style.

It is sweet, deep, and rich and you do get some vanilla every now and then. Very lovely, but I agree-it does not smell like pumpkin or banana. I did buy a second one to alternate with Apple Pumpkin and Autumn Wreath (which is the perfect collection of fall scents). If you want banana, then go with Banana Bread. If you are looking for something baking in the oven, then Apple Pumpkin smells like a baked good baking (similar to banana bread without the banana).

The banana is not overpowering but does in fact smell like you've been baking all day. I could burn this all day every day. I get tons of compliments on it, and it's a soft enough scent I don't feel overwhelmed while burning it. The throw is impressive. I can easily fill my whole home with this one candle. Yankee always comes through with top-quality products. You won't regret this one. Added to my forever collection of favorites. Trimming the wick has kept it burning evenly and without smoking.

I've been burning this one a few nights this week and everyone was fooled into thinking I was baking banana bread. This scent has a decent throw, and it's not overbearing. Upon burning it my stomach would actually growl. I get the scent of banana foremost, and you can smell the spices in pumpkin to heat up this fall cozy scent. You can smell a hint of vanilla and brown sugar at times too. I like that this large 20 oz jar candle has 2 wicks to ensure even burning and pooling of the wax. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this fall scent to ensure warmth and coziness in your home.

It is not too strong but strong enough to make your house smell like freshly baked pumpkin banana scones! It's actually amazing how pumpkin and banana scents are combined in this candle. This is one of my most favorite scent combinations now and I'll definitely repurchase this candle in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Banana Beauty This candle is really powerful and it is sure to be a winner with anyone who loves the food and bakery scents. Yankee always provide excellent bakery scents but sometimes they can be quite similar. This one stands out because the banana really comes through. Maybe in other territories where bakery scents are more popular, this is not unique but here in the UK, we don't get scents like this from Yankee often. The candle throws very quickly after being lit and performs perfectly with a clean, even burn. There is no black soot with these candles and the jars looks very clean after every use.
