Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Moody Blue" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I do not purchase candles based on color, but this soft and slightly dusty blue caught my attention because it just happened to match my living room decor very well. Then I read the fragrance notes "Bergamot, Green Pear, Grapefruit" and I really like anything "Bergamot" scented or flavored. This was a great decision! There's definitely a hint of cedar in this BAYSIDE CEDAR tumbler candle, but - after burning it a couple of times for about three hours each time- I also discovered an overall sense of relaxing calm. The scent is very soft, not overwhelming, but does fill my space nicely. A perfect candle for a quiet evening after a busy day.

I had hoped it would give me a cabin-like scent . . . .but every time I walk into the house when it is burning I think it smells like dead fish. :0( In all fairness my husband and daughter don't smell he dead fish, but they don't think it is great either. One says they smell nothing and the other just says it smells like smoke. I don't know . . .all I know is that this is the only Yankee Candle I have ever come across that I just absolutely can not stand the smell of. It is barely used and I just don't think I can light it again. :0(

Although not specifically labeled as a fall scent it’s quite nice. It’s clean and fresh, slightly woodsy a little cologne smell. Not too over powering a little sophistication. An overall nice smell. Could be an anytime of the year candle and I feel men would enjoy this one too. The color is quite nice.

Perhaps it's the double wick, which I don't care either way about. For the same price, the new Signature jars burn far, far fewer hours. I'm so very unhappy with this - the prices aren't any less. They've been going up!

Using them for relaxation, fragrance enhancements for my home. Perfect for bubble baths on those much needed days. I wanted to love this candle from Yankee as im a die hard BBW candle consumer. It smelled wonderful straight from the jar. Upon lighting it the scent subdued. I burned for about two hours and it didn't fill my house like the BBW candles usually do. I was disappointed with this, it burned even without any issues. The top that doubled as a stand was really neat for displaying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead Fish [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may sound odd, but it's true! I lean towards Cedar smells, but Bayside is this candle's strong scent. At first the smell was not bad, but once lit after a few hours both my husband & I were saying 'what's that smell? It smells like fish.' My husband blamed the candle & I was like 'stop it! Its not my candle'. I was in denial and lit the candle 2 more times and each time, FISH! I couldn't believe it. I had to get rid of them.

Makes me feel like I am in an expensive mountain retreat in the Pacific Northwest. The very faint fruity top notes make this a very well rounded aroma good for any occasion.
