Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells like Jello I really enjoy this candle. While I don't believe it to smell like actual fresh raspberries (we used to have raspberry bushes and pick & eat them all the time), it does smell like sweet raspberry Jello to me (and my husband) - like when you first open the package and pour it out a/o start heating it. My husband has walked in the room and asked me what smells like Jello several different times (I rotate candles often)! It is very fresh with a medium to strong fragrance and good throw (although the throw on the tart is much stronger). I prefer fruit fragrances and this is one of my favorites. Perfect for Spring & Summer, but I will burn it year round. Highly recommend if you like fruit fragrances.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Just received my delivery today, I bought two of the Red Raspberry giftsets with Illumalids at a great price. Unfortunately, this fragrance just isn't for me. Although it has burnt & thrown the scent lovely, the smell is just not what I was expecting. On cold sniff, I could smell a sharp, tart, true raspberry scent which I loved but when burning, it smells very artificial with a slight petrol scent to me. It's the first scent that I have not loved from Yankee with exception to the Gingerbread Maple which I absolutely hated. I still love Yankee candles though & will continue to buy them - I'll just make sure that I don't buy blind again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fruity! This scent truly makes my mouth water. I adore raspberries, they are my favourite summer fruit by far. So when this fragrance was released l had to buy it. It burns cleanly with an Illuma lid and gives a strong and steady throw of fragrance. It smells wonderfully sweet and slightly tart. Other family members feel it smells like raspberry cordial or even raspberry jelly. They all enjoy this scent and l have just used up one jar and have bought another.

I normally do not like the berry scented candles and, considering how much I dislike the Raspberry fragrance in the Pure Radiance collection, I really did not expect to like this. However, the minute I smelled it in the store I knew I needed to buy it! I now have burned the candle, used the traditional wax melts, and used the easy meltcup in this scent and I love them all! It has a strong throw and is a fresh, delicious, berry scent! (Not to mention the beautiful red wax will go perfectly with my Valentine's Day decor)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YES YES YES!!!!!!! I can't say how much I love, love, love this candle. I've always loved the food and berry fragrances. So when I walked into my YC store and found this one with the other new spring fragrances I had to buy it. One smell of this candle and I was hooked. Once the candle was lit it smelled even better. And because of it's amazing throw the smell reached every courner of the house. I will certainly be buying more of these as quick as possible because they are sure to sell out fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raspberry Paradise For the life of me, I can't understand what all the hype is about Kringle candles as opposed to Yankee! I've tried Kringle candles and they're OK, but I've been disappointed much more with Kringle than with Yankee. Raspberry is a candle that is just pleasing to everyone. This smells just like raspberries- fresh, sweet, and mouth-watering. Yankee used to make a blackberry candle that was A-MAZING, but they d/c'ed it long ago. This one sort of makes up for it. Not in the least headache or nausea inducing, it can be left to burn for a hours and I do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandmother hated scented candles (mostly because the smell bothered her and her allergies), but loved raspberries. After she passed, my grandfather would burn this raspberry candle every single day. He did this for nearly 2 years. Now that he has passed, I burn this candle in both of their memories and it makes me feel closer to them, even though they're both no longer here. This scent is just right. It smells amazing and isn't overpowering at all - the kind of candle my grandmother would've loved if she gave it a chance. It reminds me of summer and home and comfort. It's just an amazing scent and I know that I personally will be devastated if it's ever discontinued.

I am 2 rooms down the hall and cannot smell it, but if I walk into the kitchen I can smell the fresh Raspberry. Very subtle, but a TRUE Raspberry smell. (Not a sweet candy scent). Overall, I enjoy this candle. Burns nicely, beautiful color, and nice light scent. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is trying to cover up a smell (smoke, pets etc) but I certainly recommend to anyone who enjoys light, true fruity scents.
