Rated 5 out of 5 by from In Honor of my Mom I unfortunately lost my mom in late October 2015. I knew that I needed to keep another tradition that I started with my father's passing was lighting a candle in remembrance for Christmas. My mom loved Christmas the most and she loved to bake cookies for her grandchildren. When I purchased Christmas Cookie in the past, she commented that she really loved the candle aroma. I now have purchased a new Christmas Cookie candle that I lit on Christmas Eve and continue through Christmas night in her memory. Now I have Christmas Cookie for my mom and Home for the Holidays for my dad, who spend the holidays in Heaven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahhh, the sweet smell of baking sugar cookies Sorry kids--it is just my candle burning on the menu today. This one is lovely and sweet with a little warmer fragrance than Butter cream. It must be the dough note in the candle. You cannot go wrong with this candle if you have a sweet"nose" like me. My other favorites this year in the sweet department have been: Merry Marshmallow, Butter cream and PR Iced cookie. I love the warm smell of vanilla and this one is perfect. It is not too sickly sweet or fake smelling like some vanilla scents can smell like. It is a soothing fragrance that fills my kitchen with calorie free goodness. Remember to use your illuma- lid to help the jar candle to burn evenly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing decrease in quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scent is my all-time favorite and has been my go-to Christmas candle fragrance for many years. This year I am extremely disappointed. There is barely any scent at all, compared to how it has been in the past. Older versions, even the one I had left over from last year, filled the living room strongly and wafted up the stairs. This new one barely smells at all. Even the Car Jar gives off more fragrance than the candle. And yes, I follow all the suggested rules about burning and storing it. It's not how I'm using it; it's the product itself. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best baking scent ever I just became a Yankee fanatic a couple months ago, and this candle is by far the best I've tried yet. I was nervous about this one because I've read reviews saying this one in particular has a weak throw, but I had the total opposite experience, it fills my whole open kitchen/living room area with the most wonderful baking scent ever. I've tried 6 different large jar candles, and have bought a 2nd of 4 of them already. I've had a great throw from every single one except the very beginning burn of an Icy Blue Spruce, but the 2nd and all following burns were great. I have 3 Christmas Cookies and all of them have a great throw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh baked cookies.... When I light this candle guest think I am seriously baking sugar cookies in the oven. The buttery goodness of buttercream icing gives this scent something sweet. But upon second sniff. Their is just a hint of something different. Perhaps nutmeg or cinnamon. I think that is what distinguishes it from the buttercream scent. Christmas Cookie is the perfect scent for the holidays. Reminds me of my childhood when we baked dozens of cookies for the whole family as gifts. Yankee Candle has done a fantastic job! And I am glad this is a holiday tradition in their collection. Because it is a staple in my household! :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely no scent! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased Yankee Candles for decades and they have turned into a crapshoot as to if you will get any scent throw from them. This candles has near no scent when burned. This is the third such Christmas Cookie Candle I have gotten with this same issue. The first two I got were worlds stronger. Why burn the candle if you can;t smell anything?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scent; not too strong I always used to stay away from candles that smelled like food. I was in the store last fall getting a scent that found the year before (Holiday Sage), when a gentleman was buying almost every jar of the Christmas Cookie candle in stock. He said his wife loved it and burned it all year long. He convinced me to smell it, and I surprised myself by really liking it! Many of the Yankee Candle scents can be too strong, but this one was light, warm and a great winter scent! I burned it from November-February. It didn't need to be just for Christmas! I burned it in the kitchen while I had the Holiday Sage in the family room. They were great complements to each other!
